C. Don Thomas

  C. Don Thomas, 81, of Saltillo, died at 6:46 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 
2003, at his home following an extended illness.
  Private graveside services were held at the Saltillo Cemetery at the 
convenience of the family.
  Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Martin R. Brown 
Funeral Home, Orbisonia.
  Born Nov. 13, 1921, at Saltillo, he was a son of the late Cecil and 
Ethel (Bolinger) Thomas.
  He was married to the former Vera Wible on Oct. 29, 1948, at Three 
Springs. Mrs. Thomas survives at their home.
  Also surviving are the following children: Tonia D. Little of 
Loysburg, Kerry L. Thomas of Saltillo and Denee L. Piper of RD Blairs 
Mills; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
  One sister, Myra Fae Kline, and two brothers, Ned Thomas and Fern 
Thomas, are deceased.
