LOCAL AND PERSONAL.

  Mrs. Mary Thornburg, mother of J. A. Clifton, died at 9 o'clock, 
Thursday morning.  Services at the residence of J. A. Clifton, Church 
street, between Fifth and Sixth street, at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon.  
The body will be taken West for burial on Saturday morning.
