Travis, a prominent citizen of Spruce Creek, while at work on the residence of D. M. Miller, in Tyrone, about 7 o'clock Monday morning, was stricken with apoplexy and immediately taken to his home and a physician called. He remained unconscious until Tuesday morning about 7 o'clock, when he expired. He leaves to mourn their loss his wife and four children; also three brothers and one sister, as follows: John, who resides at Tyrone; Samuel, of Leavenworth, Kansas; James, of Prairie Home, Shelby county, Illinois; and Isabella Baird, of Limestone, Clarion county, Pa. He was aged about 60 years. Funeral services will be held at the Spruce Creek church this morning at 10 o'clock, with Rev. J. J. Coale officiating. Interment in the Graysville cemetery.
