(Dick) Wagner, 64, of 14150 Crawford Ave, P. 0. Box 131, Mount Union, died at 2:26 p.m., on Sunday, July 2 at his home. He had been in failing health since August. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, at the Robert D. Heath Funeral Home, Mount Union, with Pastor Jim Hullihen officiating. Interment will be in Haven Rest Memorial Park, RR1, Shirleysburg. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. He was born on June 16, 1942, in Wayne Township, Mifflin County, the son of the late Gilbert and Ethel (Ray) Wagner. Mr. Wagner was united in marriage to Emma L. (Prough) Wagner, on October 29, 1971, at the Sugar Run Church of the Brethren by Pastor John Keiper. His wife survives, along with two slaughters: Teresa Showalter and husband, John (Chop), of Mount Union, and Dawn Leonard and husband, Ronald (Bookie), of Mount Union. The following grandchildren survive: Ronald Leonard Jr.; Terry Leonard; Tonya Leonard; Angela Holland and Amanda Holland. Also the following great grandchildren survive: Kenzyann, Landen, and Mason. Mr. Wagner is also survive by the following brothers and sisters: Bernard Wagner of Schwenksville, PA: Gilbert Wagner and wife. There are many nieces and nephews surviving. Mr. Wagner was a graduate of Captain Jack High School, Class of 1961. He served in Germany with the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1966. He was employed by Henkel and McCoy, as a lineman, from 1970 until 1995. He also had operated the Sunoco Station, Mount Union, along with Ron Jacka. He also drove a truck and worked at Letterkenny Ordinance Depot. More recently, he worked in Maryland for C. W. Wright for four years, and for S&N Construction for two years, until he became disabled. Mr. Wagner was of the Protestant faith. He loved spending time with his family.
