JOSEPH L. WAITE.

  Joseph L. Waite, a former resident of Tyrone, and a brother of George C. 
Waite, of this place, died at his home in Cartersville, Ga., on Saturday from 
pneumonia.  He was born October 20, 1865 in Warriors Mark valley.  In 1900 he 
went south and located in Cartersville, Ga., where he held a position with the 
Virginia Iron, Coal and Coke company.  Surviving him are two sons and a 
daughter, Rev. J. Raymond Waite, of Valatie, N.Y.; Victor and Frances, of 
Cartersville, Ga.  Four brothers and three sisters also survive him: Hays H. 
Waite, esq., of Huntingdon; George C. Waite, of Tyrone; S. Blair Waite, of Union 
Furnace; Andrew A. K. Waite, Mrs. Jacob H. Mattern, and Mrs. Scott Buck, of 
Warriors Mark.  The body will be brought to Warriors Mark for burial.
