All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ________________________________________________ SAMUEL BLAIR WAITE Retired farmer of Union Furnace, died at 7 o'clock this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Gerald Harpster, 427 Spruce avenue. He was born on June 11, 1856, at Pennsylvania Furnace, a son of Joseph H. and Elizabeth Keith Waite. His wife, Anne Mary, died some years ago. Surviving are one son, Clark Waite of Juniata; three daughters, Mrs. Philip Carper of Spruce Creek, Mrs. H. W. Stewart of Juniata and Mrs. Gerlad Harpster, at whose home he died. Fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive, together with a brother, H. H. Waite of Huntingdon, and a sister, Mrs. Nellie Buck of Warriors Mark. Mr. Waite was a member of the Juniata Presbyterian church. Most of his life was spent at Union Furnace. The body may be viewed after 7 o'clock this evening at the Harpster home.
