LOCAL AND PERSONAL.

  John D. Walsh, brother of Mrs. Judge Clarkson, died very suddenly, in 
the city of Rochester, N.Y., on the 18th ult., aged about 66 years.  
Deceased was Steward of the Cassville Seminary in the palmy days of 
that institution, and for a time was a resident of this city.  Mrs. 
Clarkson attended the funeral, which prevented her from being present 
at our Centennial.
