C. Blair Memorial hospital, Huntingdon, Nov. 3, 1936 at 10:30 p.m. He was aged 49 years. Death was caused by a complication of diseases. He was born at Cypherstown, Pa. the son of John and Lavina Steins Webb, deceased. He was one of a family of five children. One brother, Emory Webb, of Spruce Creek, survives. He was united in marriage with Miss Alice May Diven, Nov. 1, 1916 and to this union one daughter, Leona Webb, was born. Mr. Webb was greatly interested in the cultivation of bees and unfortunately lost quite a number of hives in the St. Patrick's Day flood in March 1936. Funeral services were held Friday, November 6th from the Dunmire Funeral Parlors in Mount Union. Rev. Benjamin, pastor of the Pentecostal church officiated and interment was made in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Mount Union. JAMES CURTIS WEBB - Well known resident of Mount Union, whose business was destroyed by the St. Patrick's Day flood, died Tuesday night at 10:35 o'clock at the J. C. Blair Memorial hospital. He was 49 years of age. He was a son of John and Levina (Steins) Webb and was born at Sipestown, Huntingdon county. Mr. Webb was united in marriage on Nov. 1, 1916, with Alis May Diven, who survives, with one daughter, Leona Webb, at home, and one brother Emory Webb of Spruce Creek. Funeral services will be conducted at the Dunmire funeral home in Mount Union Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. Benjamin, pastor of the Pentecostal church. Funeral services will be held at the Dunmire funeral home in Mount Union, on Friday afternoon, November 6, 1936, at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Benjamin, will officiate. Interment will be made in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Mount Union. The body may be viewed at the funeral home any time Thursday or Friday until the hour of the funeral. Obituary not dated.
