Alexandria, January 30. - At his home here, Harry Wilson Wertz died of a complication of diseases at 1:50 o'clock this afternoon. He was born September 23, 1873, and is survived by his wife. Although in ill health for a number of years, he took a great interest last summer in the erection of a beautiful new home in one of Alexandria's suburbs, into which he and his wife had moved only five weeks ago. He was a member of the Lutheran church at Water Street, an influential citizen in whose death the community sustains a great loss. Funeral service at the home at 10:30 Friday morning.
