ANNA WESTBROOK Mrs. Anna Martha Westbrook of 515 Washington Street, Huntingdon, widow of C. M. Westbrook passed away in the J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital on Sunday morning, March 21, 1948 at 4:20 p.m. She had been a patient in the hospital for three months. In her 83rd year, Mrs. Westbrook's death was due to the infirmities of old age. The deceased was born on January 1, 1866 at Cooks Station, Huntingdon County, a daughter of Allen Edwards and Mary Ann (Price) Edwards. On September 13, 1892, she was united in marriage to C.M. Westbrook of Huntingdon, at Williamsburg. They resided in Huntingdon where Mr. Westbrook continued a retail shoe business started by his grandfather in 1833. Today two of the deceased's sons carry on the same business which is the oldest store in Huntingdon. Mrs. Westbrook was a member of the First Methodist Church in Huntingdon. In earlier days, she was quite active in the community and church affairs. She is survived by three sons: Edgar Westbrook of Warrior Oaks, Huntingdon, R.D.; A. Lawrence Westbrook, 408 Church Street, Huntingdon; and Kirk M. Westbrook of 501 Washington Street, Huntingdon. A brother, Sherman Edwards of Bruning, Nebraska, three grandchildren and one great grandchild, also survive. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at the Bechtel funeral home in Huntingdon. The Rev. A. R.
