James Westbrook died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Westbrook, of 1428 Mifflin street, on Thursday, October 18th at 3.20 p.m. from the effects of Spanish influenza and pneumonia. He was born December 9th, 1893, being aged at time of death, 24 years, 10 months and 8 days. He was united in marriage to Miss Clara Foreman of Altoona, on October 11, 1915. Mr. Westbrook had been a resident of Altoona during the past five years, and was employed as a signal maintainer on the P.R.R. He was a member of the Brotherhood Railroad Trainmen; P.R.R. Relief, Brotherhood of Railway Signal Corps, P.O.S. of A. and a consistent member of the Church of Christ in Altoona. Mr. Westbrook was well known in both Huntingdon and Altoona, and had many friends, who are very sorry to learn of his sudden death. He is survived by one daughter, Luella, aged about 3 years, and one baby son, aged 9 months. He is also survived by his parents and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. J. R. Riling, of Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Joe Zeigler, and Mrs. James Campbell, of Altoona; Ethel, Lily, and Charles, all of Huntingdon. Private funeral services were conducted at the home of his parents on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Rev. L. M. Brady, pastor of the Fifteenth street M.
