All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ________________________________________________ ALLEN WHITE Allen White, the third and youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. John White, of 616 Washington street, died on Saturday morning at 5 o'clock from pulmonary weakness, after being confined to his home since last fall. Born February 11, 1892, he had just passed his twenty-seventh birthday. He was a highly esteemed young man, and was a member of the First M. E. church. Surviving are the parents, the father being a well known coal dealer; and these brothers and sisters: Frank of Altoona, Charles of Gallitzin; Elsie and Mae, at home. Funeral services will be held at the residence Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 in charge of Rev. George S. Womer and Rev J. S. Souser, with interment in Riverview cemetery. Mrs. White and aged grandmother Strait are both very ill and were scarcely expected to live at the time the young man died. Altoona Tribune, Tuesday Morning, March 25, 1919
