Wilson, age 93, of Indiana, passed away Sunday, February 24, at the Indiana Regional Medical Center. The funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 27, with Rev. David Hanna officiating. Interment was made in the Oakland Cemetery. He was born July 9, 1914 in Huntingdon Co. and was the son of Ira W. and Margaret Mae Montague Wilson. Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife of 59 years Cleo Whitsel Wilson, Indiana; one son, Gerrard M. W. Wilson, Indiana and one daughter, Brenda K. Wilson, Seattle, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his brother William H. Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a 1938 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor degree in Agricultural Economics. He was employed as a salesman for Whitmoyer Labs in Myerstown for 28 years, selling livestock and poultry supplies. He also worked for Aging Services of Indiana County for 17 years. He was veteran of WWII, he served in the US Army as a First Sergeant in the Philippines. Mr. Wilson is resident of Indiana since 1953, he enjoyed golfing and volunteering at Aging Services of Indiana County following his retirement from that organization. He was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church where he served as elder and deacon. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge #572, Orbisonia, the Penn State Alumni Assoc., Delta Theta Sigma Fraternity, an intramural boxing champion while at Penn State and a life member of the VFW Post #1989, Indiana.
