YOCUM Mrs. Yocum, of Mount Union, died on Monday, Oct. 21, in Huntingdon, from the effects of Spanish influenza and pneumonia. The body was prepared for burial by Brown Brothers and shipped to her home in Mount Union, where services were conducted and interment made. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Thursday Morning, October 24, 1918 YOCUM Mrs. Herbert Yocum died in the Blair Memorial hospital on Tuesday, Oct. 22. Deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Lowry, of Mount Union, and was aged 16 years. She is survived by her husband, her parents, two brothers, and one sister, as follows: Earl Lowry, in the U.S. service in France; William Lowry, at home, and Mrs. William Yocum, of Doylesburg, Pa. The remains were shipped to Mount Union, on Tuesday following, where services were conducted, and interment made.
