The County of Huntingdon was officially established on September 20, 
1787.  It was previously part of Bedford County.

1772 Bedford County Pennsylvania Assessment Tax List

Found in an envelope of pamphlets in the LDS Family History Center in 
Orange, Orange County, CA.  From the notations, it was produced by the 
Seattle Genealogical Society, Inc. (9-70).  It is a list of 410 names 
taken from the assessment of Bedford County, just prior to the 
formation of Westmoreland County.  No other information was listed, 
names only:
