Wednesday evening last, at 7:30 o'clock Dr. M. Thompson Dill and Miss Lillian Royer were united in marriage by Dr. D. K. Freeman, at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Royer, 208 Penn street, Huntingdon, in the presence of the immediate relatives of the contracting parties and a few friends. The parlor was tastefully trimmed in green and white. To the strain of Lohengrin's wedding march rendered by Mr. Frank Cremer, the bridal procession entered the room, the bride accompanied by her brother, Mr. Robert Royer and attended by her sister Miss Edna as maid of honor. The groom had as best man his brother, Mr. M. F. Dill, of Pittsburg. The attire of the bride was white de esprit with tulle veil caught up with orange blossoms; the groom wore the conventional black. Following the congratulations incident to the occasion a wedding repast was served by caterer Fisher. The bride was the recipient of many valuable and beautiful presents. She is the affable and accomplished daughter of the late L. C. Royer; the groom is Huntingdon's leading dentist. At 10:12 the happy couple left on Philadelphia Express for a week's trip in some of the eastern cities. New Era Journal, Wednesday February 8, 1905
