Duncan, Pennsylvania railroad dispatcher at this place, disturbed the equilibrium of all his acquaintances last week when he quietly announced that himself and wife would be "at home" to their friends in the Yenter house, on Church street. Having posed as a single man in their imagination, they were loath to credit the fact that he had joined the Benedictine ranks as early as May 18 last, when he was married to Miss Ida Weller, of Altoona. His friends all join in wishing Mr. and Mrs. Duncan long life and happiness. - Huntingdon Semi-Weekly News. Altoona Mirror, Tuesday, September 26, 1899, page 1 Note: David (46), Ida (28), and Sarah (3/12) Duncan appear in the 1900 Huntingdon Ward 2, Huntingdon County census.
