On Tuesday evening 19th February 1839, by the Rev. David Williams; Mr. 
Henry Kneese, to Miss Nancy E. daughter of Mr. Asahel H. Brown, all of 
this borough.

 How strange it is, that Nancy Brown should take
 A litle Kneese to share her joys of life:
 How strange, her little Kneese would dare to break
 The cords of kindred love, and call his aunt his wife!
 
 Our neighbor Nancy is no longer Brown,
 Her little Kneese has was'd her Brown away:
 May heaven, with lasting joys, their union crown.
 And little Kneeses bless their marriage day!
