McConahy and Miss Florence Miller were united in marriage at the parsonage of the First Methodist church on Saturday, April 27 by the pastor, Rev. George S. Womer. The couple were attended by Edward and Miss Janet Miller, a brother and sister of the bride and by Miss Edna Chilcoag, a popular young lady of Mapleton. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Miles Miller of Smith Valley and is an excellent young lady, having been formerly employed as a teacher in one of the county schools. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John McConahy of Williamsburg and is an industrious young man; being employed as an operator for the Pennsylvania Railroad company at Williamsburg. Mr. and Mrs. McConahy will take up housekeeping in Williamsburg at an early date. A wedding reception was given by Mr. and Mrs. Miles Miller at their home in Smith Valley on Sunday, April 28 in honor of their daughter and her husband.
