Read [sic]on Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock when their daughter Miss Isabel became the happy bride of Lieutenant Oscar M. Mierly, a young Huntingdon dentist lately returned from service at Camp Dix. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. R. P. Daubenspeck, pastor of the Presbyterian church. A dinner was served, the guests being the immediate relatives after which the bride and groom left upon an extended wedding trip. The couple will reside in Huntingdon, as Dr. Mierly will re-open his office which had been closed during his service at camp. Altoona Tribune, Friday, January 17, 1919, page 11
