Warefield were married Thursday evening, March 1, at 5 o'clock at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Baker at Spruce Creek. The ceremony was performed by Rev. M. O. Lane, of the United Brethren church of Altoona, in the presence of about sixty relatives and friends. The bride is a young lady highly esteemed and well fitted for the responsible position she now assumes. Mr. Warefield is a worth young man and trusted employe of Messrs. Sparks & Evans, railroad contractors, and he has a number of relatives and acquaintances living in Tyrone. Mr. and Mrs. Baker's home was beautifully decorated with choice flowers for the occasion. A dinner followed the wedding ceremony. There were friends and relatives from Washington, Altoona, Tyrone, Huntingdon and many points along the line of the P.R.R. The evening was spent most cheerfully. Delightful music was rendered by Miss Bertha Wilson, of Altoona, a cousin of the bride. The presents both numerous and beautiful, were ornamental as well as useful. Tyrone Daily Herald, Friday, March 2, 1900
