All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm __________________________________________________________ Source: Huntingdon County Court House Written: February 7, 1867 Recorded: August 13, 1867 LAST WILL & TESTAMENT OF ELIZABETH CURFMAN Feb. 7th 1867 I Elizabeth Curfman considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory do make this my last Will in form following Adam Curfman my son to have the cook stove and what belongs to it and the clock and the chairs and bed Steads and the one carpet that they have on the floor and the red chest and my daughter Susan Fields to have the new bed and new cover, lid and all the best table cloths and towels and all my wearing cloths and the butter bowl and a large dish with a blue rim and a small iron pot and a skillet with a handle to it the coffee pot and boiler and bucket and the other piece of carpet and large chest and Fifty Dollars to be applied to the new Church at Trough Creek to be an opening in the Centenary of Methodism all any just debts and funeral expences to be fully paid and satisfied and the remainder of my goods and chattels to be equally divided believe my son Adam and my daughter Susan and this to bequeath all my goods and chattels as is set forth in this my last will and testament. Elizabeth Curfman Amandus David Ephriam M. Horton County of Huntingdon SS. This 13th day of August A. D. 1867 before me J. E. Smucker, Register for the Probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for the County of Huntingdon personally came Amandus David & Ephriam M. Horton the subscribing ______ to the above Will and being duly sworn according to law did depose and say, that they were present and saw and heard Elizabeth Curfman the testatrix sign seal, publish pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and for his testament and last will and that at the time of so doing she the said testatrix was of perfect and sound mind memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge, observation and belief. Sworn and subscribed before Amandus David one J. E. Smucker Ephriam M. Horton Register Isaac Taylor exec. of Elizabeth Curfman late of Cass Township decd. On this 18th day of August A. D. 1867 Letters Testamentary in common form were granted to Isaac Taylor on the Estate of Elizabeth Curfman decd. J. E.
