We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. _______________________________________________________________ Will Book 14, Pages 142-144 Huntingdon County, PA The Last Will of David Grove I, David Grove Sr., of the Borough of Orbisonia, County Of Huntingdon, state of Pennsylvania, make this my last will to give devise and bequeath all my estate both real and personal; as follows that is to pay: 1st- It is my desire that all my debts be paid in full. 2nd - I give to my Grandson, George W. Grove, the sum of two hundred [$200.00] Dollars. 3rd - I give to my Grandson, Leslie Grove, the sum of one hundred and fifty [$150.00] Dollars. 4th - The balance of my estate I direct to be divided share and share alike to my children or their heirs. 5th - To direct that my Executors shall first deduct all debts due me by any of my children, out of their share of the Estate, and when all is paid them, the balance, if any, shall be paid to them as herewith fore directed. 6th - I give to my Executors herein after named, full power at any time within five years, to sell either at public or private sale, and on best terms possible, the "Cook Farm", and make title thereto. 7th - I direct that the "Quarry Farm" shall be sold by my Executors at any time they shall deem it advisable either at public or private sale, but if they should think best to hold the same, I direct that all income from the said farm either as royalty or rents shall be held in trust by my Executors for heirs; and the same shall be divided, every six (6) months as heretofore divested. 8th - I direct that all real Estate, not hereinbefore mentioned, shall be sold by my Executors at anytime within five (5) years, and the proceeds of the same to be divided as hereinbefore divided. 9th - I appoint Dr. W. T. Browning as guardian of any or all minor children that shall become heirs under this will and I direct that in case of the death of any minor heirs, his or her share shall revert to his or her next blood, or in case none should be living, I then direct that the money revert to my estate. 10th - I appoint as Executors of this my last will, Dr. W. T. Browning and George W. Grove, both of Orbisonia, Huntingdon County, Pa. In witness whereof, I have signed and sealed and published and declared this instrument as my will at Orbisonia, Huntingdon Co., PA on the 14th day of February 1895. T. Browning, who being duly affirmed doth depose and say that David Grove Sr., late of the Borough of Orbisonia, died on or about the 29th day of February 1895 at 9 o'clock p.m. is the best of his knowledge and belief affirmed and subscribed this 11th day of March A.D. 1895 before M. W. Isenberg, Register, County of Huntingdon, PA. W. T. Browning This Eleventh day of March A.D. 1895 before M. W. Isenberg, Register for the Probate of wills and granting letters of administration in and for the County Of Huntingdon, personally came Anna Grove and James Smith, the subscribing witnesses to the above will and being duly sworn accordingly to law, did depose and say, that they were present and saw and heard David Grove Sr.. Testator, sign, seal, publish, promise and declare the foregoing instrument of entity as and for his testament and last will, and that at the time in so doing , he the said testator, was of perfect and sound mind, memory, and understanding, to the best of their knowledge, observation and belief.
