To all to whom these presents shall come, we George Rager and Sera his wife, John Rager and Agnis his wife, Hew Junkins and Ann his wife, Jacob Frye and Susanna his wife, John Junkins and Christena his wife, heirs and legal representatives of the estate of Hugh Junkins, late decd. Send greetings: whereas the sade Hugh Junkins died seized and possessed of a certain tract or parcel of land of wich is the following that is to say hereafter described and whereas the sade Hugh Junkins also left sundry heirs of which is the following: James, Sera now Sara Rager, Agnes now Agnes Rager, Hugh, and Susana now Susana Frye and John, all heirs at law and legal representatives of the sade Hugh Junkins, decd, and whereas an agreement has been entered into on the above named heirs - at law. To release and convey all there rite, titel, intrist and claim to the folowing tract of land herinafter described. Now know ye that in order to carry into fill effect and the beter to perpetuate the agreement aforesaid made and in consideration of the sum of ninty dollars to us in hand well and truly paid by the sade James Junkins and Christina his wife at and before the sealing and delivering hereof the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, we, George Rager and Sera his wife, John Rager and Agnes his wife, Hugh Junkins and Ann his wife, Jacob Frye and Susana his wife, John Junkins and Christina his wife have given, granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do give, grant, bargain and sell alieu, release, convey and confirm unto the sade James Junkins and Crisena his wife all our right, titles, claims, interest and demand whatsoever of into or out of all that certain tract or parcel of land, a part of a tract of land survaed in the name of Thomas West and by sundry convainces was patented to Robert Sutton, thens from Robert Sutton to James Junkins and Susana Junkins relicts of Hugh Junkins Decd. For the yons of the heirs of sade Decd. situated in Wheatfield Township, County of Indiana, State of Pennsylvania, which will than more fuly in the convainces from Robert Sutten to James Junkins and Susana Junkins relict of sade decd containing thirty four acres and alowance of six percent with the apertances thereto belonging to the sade James Junkins and Christina his wife, their heirs and assigns forever and the above named legatees together with their wives doo grant, bargin and sell and forever release as far as on our parts to the sade James Junkins his heirs and assigns forever. In witness whereof they have set their hands and seals this twentieth day of June A.D. 1834. Wee the sade Sera, Agnes, Ann, Susana and Christina being of full age and apart from their husbands and the contents thereof made nown to them and acknowledge that without any compulsion by their husbands to be their own act and deed. In testimony I have set my hand and seal this 20th day of June, A. D. 1834. Archibald Matthews Indiana County, SS Before me a Justice of the Peace in and for said county personally came Geroge Rager and Sarah his wife, two of the grantors in the within deed on Release and in due form of law acknowledged the within release to James Junkins to be their act and deed for the purpose therein mentioned the said Sarah being of full age and by me examined separate from her said husband did voluntarily consent to the same without the compulsion or coertion of her said husband.
