The exercises were held in Mary Immaculate Hall. The speaker was the Rev. Edwin Hirt of Freeport. Three Blairsville girls were in the class, namely Barbara Forsha, Jane Ann Cronin and Elizabeth Protz. Those from town who attended the capping exercises were Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Forsha, of East Campbell street, Harry Williams, Miss Blanche Williams and Miss Viola Moore of near town, Mrs. Cronin, Sara and Peggy Cronin, and Nancy Flynn of Brown street, Mrs. Protz and two daughters of Liberty street. Following the capping exercises, a reception was held in the Students' Lounge. Miss Barbara Forsha returned home with her parents for a three weeks' vacation.
