Blairsville Dispatch November 23, 1951
FQRT MEADE, MD., Nov. 19---Second Lieut. Barbara J. Forsha, of Blairsville, Pa.,
completed an orientation course for newly commissioned nurses at the Medical
Replacement Training Center here last Saturday. The course covers military
medical procedure and Army hospital administration. She is assigned to the U. S.
Military Academy, West Point, N. Y. Lieutenant Forsha is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Melvin Forsha, 125 E. Campbell St., Blairsville, Pa. She is a graduate of
the St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing, Pittsburgh, Pa. Prior to her
commission she was employed by the Torrance State Hospital, Torrance, Pa.
