Joseph Forsha, who has been overseas, is spending a few days here with his parents and will leave today for the West Coast to join his wife, the former Betty McCrea, and son. Capt. Forsha made the trip across, from Scot-land to Maine, by airplane. Blairsville Dispatch Tue Jan 09 1945 Page 1 Mrs. Ralph Forsha has received word that her son, Capt. Joseph Forsha, who was in Silverton, spending his furlough with his wife and daughter, is now stationed in Fort Worth, Texas, as an instructor. Blairsville Dispatch Tue Jan 30 1945 Page 1 FORT WORTH, TEX. — Capt. Joseph E. Forsha, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph H. Forsha, West Chestnut, Blairsville, was assigned this week to the Fort Worth Army Air Field, Fort Worth, Tex., a unit of the Central Flying Training Command. Recently returned from combat duty overseas where he earned the DFC and the Air Medal with three oak leaf clusters, the Captain was commissioned in June, 1943. He received his early flight raining at Bonham, Sherman and Lubbock, Tex. Blairsville Dispatch Fri Mar 23 1945 Page 3 Mrs. Joseph Forsha, who has been spending some time at the Jesse Forsha home on West Ranson avenue, left this week with her small daughter, Betty Jo, to join her husband, Capt. Joseph Forsha, in Nashville, Tenn. From there Capt. and Mrs. Forsha will go to Fort Worth, Tex., where he will take up his new assignment as an instructor in the Army Air Forces. Capt.
