(Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: October 07, 1869 A locomotive on the Clearfield and Tyrone Railroad was thrown from the track, a few days ago, killing the engineer, Mr. John Adams, seriously scalding the fireman, Mr. Walters, and slightly injuring other parties. Mr. Adams was a native of Blairsville, where his remains were taken for interment.
