We regret to announce the death of John W. Brown, of Blairsville, which took
place at his residence on Wednesday of last week. The deceased was the oldest
citizen of Blairsville at the time of his death, he having resided there over
fifty years. He was an honest, upright business man, a good neighbor and a kind
husband and father. He leaves a large family of children and a large circle of
friends to lament his death.
