Daisy F. Berenbrok Forsha Brubaker, 68, of Blairsville, died Tuesday, April 14,
1998, at the Green Oaks Personal Care Home in Black lick. Born in Latrobe on
June 27, 1909, she was the daughter of Frank J. and Daisy Ferguson Berenbrok.
Sue had lived her entire life in the Blairsville area and was a charter member
of the Blairsville Historical Society. She was a retired state employee at
Torrance State Hospital. Surviving are two sons, Frank Leroy Forsha and wife
Dorrie, Blairsville, and Harry Ralph Forsha and wife Anna, Blairsville; two
daughters, Doris Deane Henigin and husband Donald, Blairsville, and Peggy Jane
Bernini, Newton Falls, Ohio, with whom she made her home for the one and one-
half years; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by her parents; two brothers, Harvey and Harry Berenbrok, and three
sisters, Emma B. Miller, Gertrude Berenbrok and Helen J. George. Friends will be
received at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home in Blairsville from 2-4 and 7-9
p.m. Thursday where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Don Smith
will officiate and interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery. Donations may
be made to the Blairsville Historical Society, the Blairsville Library or the
charity of one's choice.
