Daisy F. (Berenbrok) Forsha Brubaker, 88, of Blairsville died Tuesday, April 14,
1998, in Green Oaks Personal Care Home, Black Lick. Born June 27, 1909, in
Latrobe, she was a daughter of the late Frank J. and Daisy (Ferguson) Berenbrok.
She lived her entire life in the Blairsville area and was a charter member of
the Blairsville Historical Society. She was a retired state employee of Torrance
State Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two
brothers, Harvey and Harry Berenbrok, and three sisters, Emma B. Miller,
Gertrude Berenbrok and Helen J. George. Surviving are four children, Frank LeRoy
Forsha (and his wife, Dorrie), Doris Deane Henigin (and her husband, Donald),
Harry Ralph Forsha (and his wife, Anna) all of Blairsville, and Peggy Jane
Bernini of Newton Falls, Ohio, with whom she made her home for the last year and
a half; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 pm. Thursday in James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, 25 W. Market St.,
Blairsville. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home
with the Rev. Don Smith officiating. Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Blairsville Historical Society, Blairsville Library or
charity of one's choice.
