Indiana Evening Gazette, April 15, 1938
Mrs. Sadie A. Byers, 66, widow of David A. Byers, died at 7:05 p. m, Thursday in her
home in Chevy Chase. She was born March 31, 1872. Surviving are these children:
Thomas Leroy and David Karl Byers and Minta Viola Donahue, all of Chevy Chase; Scott
Clifford Byers of Indiana and Albert Ross Byers of Indiana, R. D. Four brothers and
three sisters also survive. Friends will be received after 7 p. m. today in Bell
Funeral Home, Wayne avenue, where services will be conducted at 3 p. m. Saturday.
Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. The Rev. R. B. Hurt of the Christian Church
will officiate.
