Beatty, 89, of 22 College Lodge Road, Indiana, died Thursday, April 7, 1983 at the Indiana Hospital. Daughter of Newton and Mary Jane ( Gress ) Boyer, she was born Dec. 20, 1893 in Armstrong County. Mrs. Beatty was a life long resident of the Indiana area, and was a member of the Greystone United Presbyterian Church and the Womens Christian Fellowship Class of her church. Surviving are her husband, John A. Beatty, whom she married March 25, 1918, two sons,Robert A. of Marion Center, R.D. 2, and William E. of Indiana, three daughters,Mrs.Neil (Mary ) McKinney, of Lady Lake, Florida; Mrs. R. Jack (Marie) Walker,Clermont,Florida; Mrs. John ( Virginia ) Bruce, of Indiana; R.D 5, ten grandchildren, seven great grand children, one great great grand Daughter, two brothers, Homer K. Boyer, znd Owen C. Boyer, of Whitesburg, and a sister, Adah C. Boyer of Elderton. She was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Neal, three brothers,Preston,Quinter, and Horace Friends will be received from 7-9 today (Friday ) and rom 2-4 and 7-9 Saturday in the Frank C. Mihalcik Funeral Home, Indiana where services will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday. Her pastor, Rev. Richard L. Cassel will officiate.
