We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ________________________________________________________________________ BEATTY Robert Cyrus Indiana Newspaper 3/18/1955 Robert Cyrus Beatty, a retired farmer of Marion Center, Pa. , passed away at the home of his son, Frank C. Beatty, of Middletown, Pa., where he had spent the past year. Born October 18, 1868 in Canoe Township, Indiana County, Pa. , he was the son of William and Loretta (Hefner) Beatty When very young, he moved with his family to White Township where he spent his early years, although he lived for some years near Davis Post Office, Marion Centerm Pa. Mr. Beatty was married to Ida L. Lutz, and later Cora Adamson, both now deceased. He was a member of the Grove Chapel Lutheran Church, having served at various times on its official boards. He was active in community affairs, having also served many years as a road supervisor and school director. Surviviing are two sons, Frank C. of New Stanton, Pa. and Charles L. of Indiana, Pa. R.D. #1, a daughter, Mrs. Robert ( Leilah May ) Roof, of Marion Centerm Pa. and a step daughter, Mrs Arthur ( LaRue ) Kesler of Marion Center, Pa. , a sister, Mrs Scott McQuown of Los Angeles, Calif., and 13 grandchildren, and 21 great grand children. Friends will be received at Robinsons 36 North Seventh Street after 4:30 Pm today where services will be held Saturday March 19, 1955 at 2:30 PM, the Reverend Roy S. Shultzand a grandson the Rev. R. Paul Beatty officiating. Internment will be made in the Grove Chapel Lutheran Cemetery _______________________________________________________________________- Mrs, Ida L, Beatty Obituary Indiana Paper 9/21/09 Mrs Ida L. Beatty, wife of R.C. Beatty, near Dacis Post Office, died in the Hellwood Hospital Tuesday ecening, September 21 following an operation.
