HENRY BENCE, 92, a former resident of Rayne Township, died at Canton, Ohio,

Tuesday, January 29. He was born in Rayne Township August 21, 1860. His

wife, Emma Cribbs Bence, preceded him to death in 1914.



Friends may call at the Bence Funeral Home in Clymer after 7:00 pm today.

Services will be held there Friday at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Frank Miller of

Wesleyan Methodist Church of Dixonville officiating. Burial will be in

Bethel Cemetery.



Surviving are a son, W.E. Bence of Apollo; four daughters, Mrs. Emma Leasure

Keiser and Mrs. Clara Keto, both of Canton, Mrs. Iva West and Mrs. Mary

Spencer, both of Reading; and one sister, Mrs. D. Bence Henry of Johnstown.
