John W. Cummings Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon for the Rev. John W. Cummings, S. T. D., director, of personnel at Marysville, Tenn., whose death occurred yesterday at the home of his father-in-law, the Rev. Dr. B. E. McClure, of Blairsville. The services will be conducted in the McClure home and interment will he made in the Blairsville cemetery. Rev. Cumming's death followed an illness of several months, during which he had been taken to the Ford Hospital, Detroit, Mich., where he underwent an operation performed by a nephew of Dr. McClure. Rev. Cummings went to the McClure home five weeks ago, in an endeavor to rest and recover his health. He was born at Gujranwalla, India, November 3, 1902, a son of Dr. Thomas F. and the late Anna Wallace Cummings. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Margaret McClure Cummings and three small children, Peggy Ann, Esther and Jimmy. He is also survived by two brothers, Robert W., of New York; James B., of Indiana, and one sister, Esther, of White Plains. N. Y. His father also survives.
