We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Copied from the Indiana Gazette Helen Cannizzaro Helen Dobashinski Cannizzaro, 84, Homer City RD 2 (Coal Run) died Saturday, Nov. 8, 1997, at her resi- dence. The daughter of Mike and Michili- na Armolovich Dobashinski, she was born Jan. 9, 1913, in Helvetia, Clear- field County. Mrs. Cannizzaro was a former member of St. Gertrude Catholic Church and served as organist for 50 years. She was also active as a CCD teacher and served as president of the St. Gertrude's Ladies Guild. She was a member of the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (DCCW). For serving as president of the Indiana County group, she received special recognition by Bishop Con- nare in 1985. For many years, she was a house- wife and worked as a clerk in the Dobashinski Confectionery in Coal Run. Surviving are one brother, Wil- liam Dobashinski, Buffalo, N.Y.; two nephews: Robert Louis and his wife, Barbara, Indiana, and William Dobashinski, Buffalo, N.Y.; and one niece, Carol Emmonds and her hus- band, William, Ford City. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Can- nizzaro, who died in 1981; one sister, Anne Albright and three brothers, Joseph, Stanley and George Dobash- inski. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the Bowser- Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a Parish Vigil Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, Indiana. Interment will be made in the St. Bernard Cemetery.
