Investigating the pedestrian's death, Cornorer Edward L. Fleming, M.D., said that the man had received fractures of the skull and left leg. The dead body, lying about two feet from the dege of the road was discovered by Archibald Pride of Iselin, a passing motorist. The Coroner and State Police from the Indiana detail said they had been informed that the man had left the social club near Iselin about midnight Saturday and that instead of proceeding towards his home had gone in the opposist direction,. He was struck by the hit and run motorist about a half mile from the club. Clarence McBride Coleman was born April 11, 1889, in Young township, a son of Samuel Clark and Sara Trimble George Coleman. He had always resided in the community, where he was engaged in farming. Mr. Coleman was a member of the Elders Ridge Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Clara Belle (Hine) Coleman; five children: Clarence, Harold, Velma, Janice, all at home and Alice of Baltimore, MD. Two brothers: Harry G Coleman, Saltsburg, R.D. 1 and Thomas C., Cleveland, Ohio and four sisters Mrs. E.R. Shearer, Saltsburg, PA; Mrs. Florence Irwin, West Brownsville; Mrs Frank Getty, Saltsburg and Mrs. W. A. Fulton, Bealsville, MD. Friends will be received after 7:00 p.m. today in Robinson Funeral Home, Saltsburg, where services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Charles C. Cribbs will oficiate and interment will be in Ridgeview Cemetery, Elders Ridge, PA.
