Coleman, 75, Saltsburg RD 1, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1988 at home. A son of Robert N. and Gertrude Cunkelman Coleman, he was born July 8, 1912, in Conemaugh Township. Mr. Coleman was a member of the Clarksburg Trinity United Presbyterian Church and the Saltsburg American Legion Post 57. He had been employed by Bethlehem Steel for many years, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia, Towson, MD; a son, Charles R. Saltsburg RD 1; two grandchildren; a brother, Bert, Clarksburg RD 1; five sisters: Blanche Ferguson, Clarksburg; Sara Stuchall, McIntyre; Lottie Agnes Bush Clarksburg RD 1; Rose McCreary, Saltsburg; Dorothy Fenzel, Yuma, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Anna E. Coleman in 1979; three brothers; Albert, Vernon, and Sam. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in the Joseph R. Hunter Funeral Home, Saltsburg, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. Rev. Thomas Waddell will officiate with interment following in the Edewood Cemetery, Saltsburg.
