COLEMAN, 62, of Star Route, Spring Church, died at the Citizen's General Hospital, New Kensington, on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 1969, at 4:20 a.m. Born Nov. 23, 1906, in South Bend, he was a son of William and Jennie Coulter (Reed) Coleman. Mr. Coleman was a member of the Boiling Spring Presbyterian Church and an elder of that church. He was a farmer and an employee of the Pennsylvania Highway Department. Surviving are his wife, Georgenia Turner Coleman; three sons and three daughters; Robert, Shelocta; Thomas, Mrs. Russell (Jane) knees, an Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Shaffer, all of Star Route, Apollo; Donald, R.D. 1; Mrs. Edward (Martha) Bortz of Apollo; 13 Grand children; four brothers and three sisters; buff, Easton; Glen and Mrs. Meade (Adelaide) Millen, both of West Lebanon; Owen of Apollo; Lyle, Vandergrift; Mrs. Agatha Couch, North Apollo; and Mrs. Robert (Esther) Cunningham, Indian. Friends will be received at the Bodenhorn and Shafer Funeral Home, 310 South Second St., Apollo, from 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m until the of the service at 1 p.m. on Friday. The Rev. James L. Holiday will officiate and interment will be made in Spring Church Presbyterian Cemetery. Additional Comments: I don't have the name of the newspaper as all of the obits I will submit are clippings from a scrapbook. If there is a newspaper name and date I will list it.
