Born May 31, 1863, the son of Samuel and Margaret Miller Coleman, Mr. Coleman had been a life long resident of the county, having resided in Young Twp., for 50 years and having been assessor there for 21 years. He was of the Elders Ridge Presbyterian Church and of Clarksburg Camp. W.O.W., for 39 years, having been one of the charter members. Funeral services will be held in the Elders Ridge Presbyterian Chruch Friday at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev. J.R.E. Craighead. Interment will be in Edgewood Cemetery, Saltsburg. Mr. Coleman is survied by his wife, Sara George Coleman, four sons, C. Mack Coleman, of Elders Ridge; Harry Coleman, of Clarksburg; Glenn Coleman and Thomas Coleman both of Saltsburg; four daughters, Mrs. E.R. Shearer, of Saltsburg; Mrs. Florence Irwin of Uniontown; Mrs. Frank Getty of Saltsburg, and Mrs. Ward Fulton, of Dickerson, Indiana; three brothers, Irwin M. Coleman of Braddock, Robert Coleman of Livermore and Campbell Coleman of Brackenridge and 29 grandchildren.
