Cook, 97, Beverly Hills, died Nov. 25, 2005, in Lecanto. He was born June 7, 1908, in Indiana, Pa., to John and Clara Learn Cook. He worked as a coal miner, and moved here from Eustis in 1995. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America. He attended the Church of Brethren in Eustis. Survivors include two sons, Wallace and Charles Cook, both of Indiana, Pa.; daughter Loretta Lowman of Indiana, Pa.; three stepdaughters, Alice Shaffer of Beverly Hills, Terrell Adams of Summerville, S.C., and Etta Szajna of Lower Burrell, Pa.; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
