We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ****************** March 16, 1937 ****************** John Burdett COOK, 59, died at 4 PM, March 16, 1937, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Raymond St.. Clair  of 1193 Washington St.., Indiana of complications from which he had suffered for several months.  He was born in Cookport, Indiana County, October 29, 1877, a son of Andrew and Rachel (McGuire) Cook, both deceased. His wife, Mrs. Claire (Learn) Cook, died in 1926. Surviving are four sons: Floyd Cook of Portage, Paul Cook of Johnstown and Vernon Cook and Jay Cook, both of Indiana; Two daughters, Mrs. Harry Thompson of Richmond, Va., and Mrs. St.. Clair at whose home he died, two sisters, Mrs. John McAdoo of Marion Center and Mrs. Zena Fisher of Indiana. and 17 grandchildren. Funeral services were held in the St.. Clair home in Indiana at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday by the Rev. John W. Kennedy minister of the First Regular Baptist Church of Indiana with interment in Oakland Cemetery.   Plot H109 [Indiana Democrat, Wednesday, March 17,1937]
