Creek, 64, of Augusta, W.Va., died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1997, at the Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va. The son of Guy and Florence Peightal Creek, he was born Aug, 8, 1933, in Indiana. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany from 1952-1955. He also served on the Philipsburg-Osceola Area School Board in the 1960s. Mr. Creek was a 1932 graduate of Indiana Area High School. He -was the owner of Creek Trucking Compa- ny, Augusta, W.Va. He was a NASCAR fan and collect- ed Dale Ernhardt memorabilia. Surviving are his wife June Ka- dash Creek, whom he married in 1988; his first wife, Sally Carbaugh Creek Shingledecker; two daugh- ters, Vicki Garbrick, Mill Hall; Mrs. Shane (Cindy) Slother, Philipsburg; three sons: Robert D. Creek, Grass- flat; Joseph G. Creek, MillHall; and Christopher E. Creek, Philipsburg; four grandchildren: Jim Creek; Shana, Autumn, and Adam Slother. No public service was held.
