The Indiana Progress, Indiana, Pa., Wednesday, March 23, 1904
Mrs. Richard Dias died at the home of her son, John, of Brushvalley Township on
Monday, aged 82 years. Susan Mardis and Richard B. Dias were married in 1835. Her
husband died a number of years ago, but these children survive: Thomas of West
Wheatfield; James, of Heshbon; Mrs. Fred Rager, of Smith Station; Mrs. Hugh Owens
and John Dias, of Brushvalley, and Mrs. Bowers, of Cherryhill Township. The funeral
services will be held this forenoon and interment will follow in the Dias cemetery
in East Wheatfield Township.
