Indiana Evening Gazette, May 7, 1980
Milward I. Dias, Windber, formerly of Heshbon, died Tuesday, May 6, 1980, at Windber
Hospital. A son of John C. and Harriet (Evertt) Dias, he was born Dec. 31,1894, in
Heshbon. Mr. Dias was a veteran of World War I and was a retired farmer. Surviving
are his wife, Lucy Lichtenfels Dias; one daughter Mrs. Yvonne (Alex) Mihalko; one
granddaughter, both of Windber; one sister, Jean Johnson, Ridgway. Friends will be
received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the Kenneth A. Stuart
Funeral Home, New Florence, where services will be held at 2p.m. Friday with the
Rev. Edward L. Carl officiating. Interment will be in the Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
