Allen Byron Dias, 52, Dilltown, died suddenly at 5:10 P. M., June 22, 1949, in
his late home. Born January 2, 1897, in Brush Valley Township, Indiana County,
son of George and Lavina (Campbell) Dias. He was a Navy veteran of World War I.
He leaves three children: Murr, Janet and Joan, all at home; five stepchildren:
Mrs. Betty Nearhoff, Osceola Mills; Mrs. Chas. Tubis, Catherine Woodring, Jane
Woodring and Harry Woodring, all of Dilltown; four brothers and one sister:
Mack, Charles, Ralph, Thornton and May, all of Dilltown. Friends will be
received after 7:00 P. M. Thursday in late home, where service will be held at
2:00 P. M. on Saturday. Rev. Houser will officiate and burial will be in Armagh
Cemetery.
