John S. Dias, aged 80 years, died at 9:30 o'clock Saturday morning at the home
of his niece, Mrs. Louise East of 319 Everhart street. Complication of diseases
was given as the cause of death. He was born in Dilltown, Indiana county, a son
of the late James D. and Anna (Faust) Dias. Besides Mrs. East, with whom he made
his home, he is survived by a nephew, Edward E. Dias of Seward, and a niece,
Mrs. H. B Taylor of 606 South street. Funeral services will be conducted front
the Dias home in Seward at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon with interment in the
Presbyterian Cemetery in Armagh.
