Mrs. Ruth V. Byers Donahue, 63, of Penn Run Road, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 1970, at
her late residence, following an extended illness. A daughter of Joseph and Nettie
Moose Shank, she was born Sept. 14, 1907 in White Twp. Mrs. Donahue had been a
resident of the Penn Run area for the past 15 years. Surviving are her husband, S.
King Donahue; a daughter, Mrs. Peter (Doris) Daskivich, Indiana; a granddaughter,
Mrs. Robert (Sandra) Brady; a great granddaughter, Christy Brady, Indiana; these
brothers and sisters: Mrs. Edgar (Esther) McKee and Mrs. Florence Ray, both of
Indiana; Paul and Clarence Shank, both of Indiana RD 4; Merle Shank, Creekside; Mrs.
Leonard (Mable) Donahue, Indiana; Mrs. Frank (Grace) Slater, Indiana. She was
preceded in death by her first husband, Albert Ross Byers, in 1963, and a brother
Roy Shank. Friends are being received at the Richard T. Bell Funeral Home, Indiana,
where services will be conducted Friday, Rev. H. D. Fair officiating, interment will
be made in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
