Duncan, for the past seven years a resident of Johnstown, died at his home in that place on Sunday morning, aged 51 years, six months and seven days. William Thompson Duncan was born in Buffington township this county, on July 13, 1856, being a son of James and Rachel Duncan, deceased. On January 1, 1876, he and Miss Mary Altemus were united in marriage in Buffington township by the Rev. Mr. Blair a U. P. minister. Seven children were born to this union, four of whom are dead. Their remains are buried in the East Union cemetery, near the village of Buffington. The living, together with Mrs. Duncan, are Samuel, of Vintondale, Mrs. Robert Ross, of Ligonier and Miss Clare, at home. Funeral services be held at his late home on this morning.
